Merckens chocolate is a delicious, smooth and creamy chocolate flavored confectionary candy coating with no waxy taste. Confectionary candy coating contains cocoa powder and vegetable oil. Merckens brand is always easy to melt and requires no tempering. If adding flavors or colors, use a concentrated flavor or oil-based color. Do not use glass when melting chocolate. Do not overheat and keep moisture out of candy.

• Due to an ingredient change, the use of paramount crystals or Wilton EZ Thins are strongly recommended. We also suggest using them when adding concentrated flavorings and oil-based colors to prevent thickening.
